This past weekend MIL and I decided that we needed to add some culture into our lives by strolling through The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City. "At The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art there is always something new to discover. The growing collections have fascinated, illuminated and exhilarated people since 1933." Each exhibit was vastly unique, with the anticipation continually growing after each collection. The architecture of this facility was remarkable, an over lapping web of entrances and exits. You almost felt as though you needed to leave a trail of bread crumbs behind you, just to attempt a return back to the parking lot.
I however have one recommendation: pack a picnic basket! We observed so many families enjoying the day. Children were playing in the enormous courtyard and parents who were glowing from the surreal scenery.
Feeling Culturally Enriched,
Farming Fabulously
I will continue to keep posting random pictures of our adventure throughout the week.
