Rodeo Recap....

This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the PRCA Rodeo in KC. Some friends of mine from college were entered up there, in the team roping event. And they were ready to turn and burn some steers, if you know what I mean. Now team roping is high impact, adrenaline rushed, sporting experience. You are obligated to rope the horns (this is done by the "Header") and both of the back heals (this is done by the "Healer") of the steer within seconds. The picture above is Amazon Adam and Jazzy Jeff in the roping box, milliseconds before Amazon nodded his head to release the steer from the shoot. This particular run they caught in a spectacular 5.2 seconds. Unfortunately, they did not take home the winning buckle for this run. But they sure did put on a groovy show for the crowd. You'll get'em next time boys..Maybe Nifty Nikki needs to show those guys how its done. Nifty is the one pictured above posing next to giant giraffe (which was very real, I personally could not figure out how they managed to squeeze a giraffe into this building, but any who).

Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously
