Not only was yesterday SMS's (Sugar Mama Sherry's) Date of Birth. It was also our first annual GATAKA Day. The farm family baked tasty treats all weekend in preparation, ran another .3 miles aday to have the proper stamina, and we all wore our Christmas ensembles with pride to hand out our sweets. Each business was given a plateful of bars, cupcakes, and even reindeer cookie's that closely resembled dogs (will post all recipes throughout the week).
Upon entering each establishment, the self reward was so fulfilling! Everyone loves getting gifts, especially gifts made of cocoa. And that is the least we could do, considering each agency has assisted us throughout the year numerously, in one form or another. When you see shear joy enter someone face, you can't help but to beam back with delight. The GATAKA Day will be a continued for years to come.
But what does GATAKA stand for you ask? Please don't judge! We mean it in the up most respect. We will be "Going Around Town And Kiss'n Ass" Day. Excuse my French.
