For the past few months, I have been asked/e-mailed a variety of questions over and over again. I decided upon two topic's to deliberate. So lets gets personal here shall we. First Question: What does HH really stand for? Second Question: How long have you been cooking?
First Question: I leave that up to your imagination. I have heard some very creative response's to this one. I am wondering what is your educated guess? Doesn't have to necessarily be logical? I prefer goofy!
Second Question: I began cooking around my Sophomore year of college. Until then I grew up on Hot Pockets and Tombstone Pizza (this could explain my height deprivation, hmmmmm), you see mother dearest wasn't a gourmet connoisseur of even the basic Hamburger Helper cuisine. So unless you could pop it into a microwave you were out of luck.
Looking back, that was an extremely heck'it time in my life. You see in 2002 I was a feisty college bond spazoid with everything on the brain except the realities that I should have been focusing on. It wasn't until the summer of '02 that I choose to purchase a house off campus (no I didn't buy a ferret or a dog, I bought a home), that my world took a turn for an unexpected change! I was forced to grow up fast! This would be the appropriate equation: FF + 4 roommates + 2 dogs + 3 horses - parents 500 miles away = Huge Reality Check.
Not to mention that 4 of those roommates (me included), decided to go on an extensive diet that summer. You see, my roommates were two of my dearest girlfriends along with my brother and his girlfriend (weird combination I know, but I bet you can guess who wanted to lose some poundage). Anyhoo, we elected not to eat fast food only healthy home cooked meals. Thus, encouraging us to try new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen. That is where it all began! I have been taste-testing ever since!
Have a Lovely Day,
Farming Fabulously
Program Note: FF enjoy's all of the e-mail questions that she recieves! And plans on posting more questions & answer sessions at a later time.
