We Interupt Our Regularly Scheduled Program For......

Have you ever experienced one of "those moments"! You know the ones, where you wish you could have a "take back, with no returns"! Yeah one of those situations. Well. I personally have never encountered that!

Today was the big day when we were going to be able to hear the babies heart beat for the first time. Both us walked into the hospital with our heads held high, gleaming from ear to ear (beaming the way that first time expectant parents do), because we were about to encounter another milestone in our pregnancy.

Since this is the Chinese year of Rabbit, reproduction levels are at an all time high. Thus the waiting period can take quite some time before you are able to visit with your Certified Nurse Midwife. This did not phase HH and I, we had all the time in the world, as long we were able to hear that pidder-patter, we were content.

Now when you are anxious about a situation that is about happen, you tend to get in a "zone". While in this trance, you gaze off into the distance almost starry eyed, you really don't move all that much, and you have a tendency to speak in a high pitched voice (ok, maybe I am the only that does this, bear with me). Considering the circumstances, this behavior went on for....well I lost track time.

Then we heard my name echoed throughout the massive waiting area. We both jumped up (like we getting an electric zap from a hot shocker), HH kept moving a constant pace towards towards the door, I however, could not. You see, since I had decided to go into my "happy place" and not move for that substantial time frame, my right foot was asleep. I'm talking numb to the world my peeps! I took an exasperating step forward with nothing to hold myself up, but a wobbly limb. So naturally, I did the only thing that I am now accustomed too, I tucked and rolled, BABY. Well, at least this time I was already at a medical facility.

Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously

Program Note: Tomorrow is the big day when we reveal Our Baking Extravaganza, with our mystery guest. I am so excited to display all of our masterpieces, prepared to be tantalized!
