While in the land of Cheddar and Swiss, Baby D had the esteemed privilege to bond with Great Grandma B (GGB). You see, I don't know if I have ever mentioned this previously but, no one new we were coming Wisconsin. We wanted it to be a surprise, sneak attack if you will. Encountering each family member individually.
Setting The Scene: It was a gloomy frigid (I think a few snow flakes drifted by our ear lobs throughout the day), atleast 30 degree cooler then Mid-Mo day in the state where the BG Packers are considers gods. I was on a hunt to find GGB, so I called "The Store", to hopefully track her down, we lucked out. While making small talk with GGB I was attempting to unload Baby D from the car, grab his diaper bag, and hoping my post preggo bod was looking presentable! I couldn't even tell you what exactly we were chatting about, but I remember simpling agreeing to everything she said (mommy was preoccupied what can I say).
Now that I new she was in "The Store", I had to narrow down which department. Baby D suggested that we may want to check out "Fashions". He was correct! While still on the phone, Baby D and I walked towards GGB, there were hoots and hollers and sheer gasps of excitement from folks that recognized Baby D. GGB completely ecstatic to see us and us her. We had a fabulous time with GGB and can not wait to see her again in December.
Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously
