Baby D's Packers vs. Cardinals Recap.....

Baby D has been a huge football fan since birth. Infact, subconsciously I think he could tell you every player of the Green Bay Packers Offensive and Defensive Line, including the kicker! After all he does get it honestly, considering his mama has cheese running deep within her veins.

So yesterday afternoon, we geared up to watch to playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals. Oh what an emotional roll coaster that it paned out to be.

The beginning of the first half was shocking to say the least! There was turnovers, interceptions and down right yucky ball handling displayed by our mighty GBP.

Baby D began getting concerned about the outcome. The Pack was not playing up to their potential. I seen the look on Baby D's face and knew instantly what he was thinking, "Mommy if I was out on the field, things would be different". I understood completely. Telling him, "One day son, you will get your chance, one day."

Until then, lets pray to the Packer gods for a better second half!

It worked! The cheese heads rallied, and closed up the scoring gap with the Cardinals. Eventually sending it to overtime. I have never seen Baby D more into a football game in his entire 4 month life! *Sniffle* I felt a little tear roll down my cheek with pride.

Unfortunately the Pack lost to the Cardinals in OT. But they put forth an amazing effort in the second half. So now, we wait patiently until next season, secretly wishing that 2010 will be the year when the GBP can bring home the Cadillac trophy of football back to the tundra.

Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously
