Baby D had the esteemed privilege of meeting Santa Claus for the first time last Friday. Prior to the visit, I sensed a hint of nervous emotion coming from our little munchkin, (Santa is intimidating to a 3.5 month old). I calmly explained to him, that Santa is a jolly soul and he brings presents to all of the good little boys and girls for Christmas. Since he has been a good boy this year he needs to indictate (Baby D, has not mastered the art of verbal communication yet) to Santa what exactly he desires for X-mas this year. So Baby D began planning his list accordingly for the Mighty Claus.
But once at the "Merry" location, Baby D went blank. As you can see from his reaction, the poor child laid there in complete shock of the white haired man. I chalk this experience up a learning process. Yet, next year I am having some Pre-Christmas concerns considering Baby D will be mobile at that point.
The Hidden Mint Cookies in the top left corner, are a recipe derived from Paula Deen. Instead of using a mint wafer like the recipe requested, I used a peanut butter wafer. Completely your preference.
